  • Problem with Registering and Downloading Wizard of Words, Wizards for Students (a.k.a. Easy Bibliography), or Wizards for Students Special (Easy Bibliography combined with Wizard of Words) ...

    Registration and download instructions for Wizard of Words or Easy Bibliography are normally accessed via the registration/download link presented to you online when you ordered the software; the information is also emailed to you on the short receipt (there are two receipts); receipts arrive automatically shortly after you submit your online, or phone, order.

    IF YOU HAVEN'T RECEIVED THE EMAIL RECEIPT (which has registration/download info), you need to try method #1 below. If that doesn't work, try #2. And if that doesn't work, try #3.

    METHOD #1.) See whether the email confirmation receipt was treated as spam by your email program. If so, it might be found in your "spam" folder, "trash" or "delete" folder. Search for any email that came from techwritesoft.com REMEMBER: There are TWO receipts, but ONLY THE SMALLER RECEIPT CONTAINS THE DOWNLOAD INFORMATION!

    METHOD #2.) If the above was not successful, you may easily re-generate the registration- and download-access information. (Note that this step will only work if there is a record of your order -- which there should be, but sometimes, due to Internet problems, there will not be a record of your order. So, if this step does not work for you, you will need to come back to this page, and follow the directions at item #3 below.)
                One other point before proceeding: When you fill out the re-registration form, you will need to submit THE SAME name and email address that you used when originally ordering. Otherwise, it will not work. (In other words, it must be the identical spelling of your name, and the identically same email address.)
                When you go to the site, you will select the "Wizard of Words" option (or, if you ordered, Easy Bibliography by itself, select "Wizards for Students" instead; or, if you ordered both Easy Bibliography and the Wizard of Words, then select "Wizards for Students Special." (It is important that you make the correct selection!!!) Proceed now to the re-registration link by clicking here.

    METHOD #3.) If the above was not successful and you have not received the registration/download information for Wizard of Words or Wizards for Students (a.k.a. Easy Bibliography) or Wizards for Students Special (Easy Bibliography combined with Wizard of Words), you need to notify us by sending an email to   — and be sure to include the exact phrase "software questions" in the subject line of your email (this ensures that it will not be lost amongst our spam and will be speedily directed to the proper department).  When you send the email, be sure to include all the following:
    name of product, your name, phone number, email address, and alternate email address, if you have one (this is important especially if problems with your email), and a FAX number, if you have one; and be sure to state that you "have not received the receipt in order to download the product"
    AND ALSO BE SURE THAT YOUR EMAIL PROGRAM WILL ALLOW ALL EMAILS COMING FROM both exis.net (this is our email address domain) and from recipes4word.com (this is the Wizard registrar's email address domain).  In other words, in order to ensure that you will receive our response to your email, be sure that your spam-protection program is set to allow this email to reach you and/or that our address is listed as an allowed address in your email program. This is sometimes referred to as "whitelisting" or removing a "blacklisting." YOU MUST ENABLE exis.net and recipes4word.com IN YOUR ALLOWED EMAILERS, WHITE LIST, OR WHATEVER YOUR ANTISPAM PROVIDER USES TO USES TO ALLOW TO PASS THROUGH TO YOUR INBOX.

    IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE TO YOUR EMAIL REQUEST (method #3 above) AFTER 24 HOURS, please read this:

    If you have followed the above directions for submitting your request (method #3 above), we will continue periodically to attempt to respond to that request for download instructions for the next 24 hours. If, after 24 hours, you have still not received a response from us, there is surely a problem with your email program. Therefore, after 24 hours has passed, please email us again () with "software questions" in the subject line, but this time please include all the following:
    name of product, your name, address, phone number, email address, and alternate email address, if you have one, and a FAX number, if you have one; and indicate the best time that you can be reached by us via telephone (specify your time zone); and be sure to state that "it has been 24 hours, and this is the SECOND request for download instructions."
    We will call you if other attempts fail.
