STEP 4: Choose Your Story Type You arrive at this window after studying the information about Story Types in the Types Instruction Window. This window is for completing Stage 3 of StoryCraft's Jarvis Method, selecting your Story Type. It first appears when the "Go to..." button is clicked in the Types Instruction Window, which contains detailed instructions and hints for selecting the Story Type. Thereafter the Types Main Window can be accessed by selecting the Types Main Window option from the Stages menu. It can also be accessed by clicking on the particular icon among the Toolbar icons. (Shortcut key: shift-F3) To return to the Types Instruction Window, you can click on the "About the Story Types Generally" button located in the Types Main Window. The Types Main Window contains detailed discussions on each of the Story Types, one of which is selected by highlighting the particular Type's name and then clicking "OK," which automatically takes you to the next stage's Instruction window, the Story Design Instruction Window.
